Hi there!
My name is Bruna. I'm an amateur adventurer. I was born in Peru, raised in Miami, schooled in Boston (Go MIT Beavers!), and now live in California. During college, I accidentally stumbled into hiking. Hiking turned to scrambling and scrambling into camping and camping into backpacking. Soon, the elevation increased and the temperature dropped and before I knew it, I had gotten into mountaineering....
I have now traveled to over 10 countries: covering 3,000 miles by bus and the other 3,000 by sailboat and have reached altitudes of over 19,000 ft twice. I mostly travel to practice my favorite sport- hiking!- though I also surf on the regular. This blog serves as a portfolio of some selected adventures of mine. Feel free to reach out if you want to learn more about a specific adventure. And if you want to hear me talk for 55 minutes about how much I love the outdoors, check out my podcast interview here.
